The FIAMM 12V 18Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery, model 12FGH65, is a sealed VRLA AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery featuring gas recombination technology that allows 99% of the gases generated during operation to be internally recombined. This characteristic makes it suitable for both standby and cyclic applications, ensuring high reliability and long service life under various operating conditions. The battery is designed for safe installation inside electronic equipment or enclosed environments, requiring no maintenance or liquid refilling.
The technical design includes 5.5 mm diameter flag terminals, optimised for quick and secure connections. The charging system must be constant voltage, in accordance with the specifications indicated on the battery, to prevent premature damage caused by overcharging or deep discharge. It is essential not to leave the battery in a prolonged discharged state; the minimum discharge voltage must not fall below 10.4 V for this 12V battery, in order to preserve cell integrity and ensure optimal performance over time.
