Description
Air Motion Transformers (AMTs) are a special type of tweeter systems developed by the German physicist Oskar Heil during his research on the characteristics of the human ear. Their main feature is a cone covered by a film with a special fold that vibrates like an accordion when an audio signal is applied. This folding allows for a large cone surface while occupying minimal space. AMTs offer dynamic sound, excellent transient response, high efficiency, and low harmonic distortion.
Two STL files are available for the AIRMT-130 for 3D-printed waveguides.
