Description
Selective earth resistivity meter (with clamp meter),
professional earth continuity and coupling tester
offers direct access to all measurements directly from the rotary switch.
The C.A 6471 is robust and sealed.
To facilitate connections, the four terminals for connecting the stakes are colour-coded.
The C.A 6471 features a large backlit LCD display as well as a rechargeable battery with an external charger that can be connected directly to mains power or a car power outlet.
This instrument also includes a direct memory function and sorting of measurement results.
A USB communication interface allows data export to a PC via the supplied Ground Tester Transfer (GTT) software.
The C.A 6471 ensures reliable measurements:
• using the stake method;
• with self-diagnosis at the start of each measurement, which indicates
the presence of any faults that could affect the measurements
(poor connections or presence of stray signals);
• with a measurement range from 0.001Ω to 99.9Ω;
• with adjustable measurement frequency between 41Hz and 512Hz;
Advanced calculation functions:
• for earth coupling measurement, simply perform the 3 necessary measurements and the processors automatically calculate the coupling coefficient;
• for soil resistivity measurement, programming the distances used for the measurement allows the instrument to automatically calculate resistivity using the Wenner or Schlumberger methods.
