Description
A 3-way hi-fi speaker still represents a challenge for the designer. Jens Heerklotz, known on various DIY speaker platforms under the nickname Sonicfurby or Sonicfury, took on this task, and the result truly deserves to be seen and heard. In addition to the excellent sound characteristics of the speaker system, great attention was paid to the design and suitability for the living room. The result is a slim-profile floorstanding speaker system that uses drivers from the HQ series of a German manufacturer and a true ribbon tweeter. With its sound characteristics, the MSH-115HQ is a true midrange specialist, the perfect partner for the RBT-10 ribbon tweeter. The slim system also includes two SPH-145HQ drivers that deliver an exceptionally deep fundamental bass.
The DIVA SIMONE reproduces dynamic music with surprising ease. A rich and powerful bass, a clear, structured and transparent midrange, and a very refined tweeter make listening to music a real pleasure, even at above-average volumes. However, the DIVA SIMONE is not a party speaker for high volumes.
