Ergonomics:
Compact and lightweight, the new C.A 652x & C.A 653x insulation controllers are user-friendly and offer greater comfort to the user:
- Box designed in accordance with a safety category of 600V - CAT IV and a protection index IP54/IK04, for easy gripping in maximum safety with easy access to the TEST button, even when the user wears insulating gloves.
- Magnetic support to fix the instrument on a metal surface, thus leaving the user free to move freely while taking measurements and reading the results.
- Large backlit display with double digital display and logarithmic bargraph, secondary display that displays in real time in addition to the measured value, the real test voltage, the test current and the timer value.
- Remote control with light spot, for perfect identification of measurement points even in poorly lit environments.
- Pass/Fail indicator illuminates Green/Red on the C.A 6526 model, for direct indication of the test result, even with the buzzer deactivated.
Insulation control:
This new range is equipped with numerous insulation test voltages between 10V and 1kV. The insulation measurement dynamics goes up to 200GΩ, with compliance with the IEC61557 standard up to 2GΩ.
In addition to the manual mode, new insulation test modes are proposed such as the blocking mode (Lock), with programmed duration (Timer) as well as the calculation of the PI & DAR ratios.
Continuity check:
The continuity check function compliant with the IEC61557 standard (current of 200mA), is enriched, on certain models, with a test current of 20mA, which has the advantage, during standard use, of saving batteries. This function has active protection in case of voltage presence: fuses are not necessary.
Measurement adaptability:
On most models in the C.A 652X & C.A 653x range, it is possible to activate an alarm threshold to choose from for each measurement, between 2 fixed thresholds and 1 customizable threshold.
Furthermore, the ΔREL function allows you to view the measurements in variation compared to a reference measurement. The display takes place in terms of variation value and percentage with respect to the reference.
Other features:
There are DMM functions with voltage measurement up to 700V, frequency up to 800Hz, resistance up to 999kΩ and capacity up to 10µF.
Ease of operation:
The analysis of the measurements is facilitated by the storage of 300 measurements on the instrument. The memory capacity is increased to 1300 locations for the versions with Bluetooth® communication. The Megohmmeter Transfer (MEG) software module, supplied as standard with the communicating versions, allows the remote launch of a test with real-time graphic display, and the transfer of the stored measurements to a PC. The values are then displayed for each type of measurement.
The DataView® software package (optional) generates customized measurement reports that can include site and operator coordinates.
