Professional PA speaker array (DSP software controlled), active, 1,000 W A compact high-power array with 4 mid-high speakers and a double bass module, each section with its own 350 W amplifier and control software (system configuration is supported via PC but operates as a standalone unit). Supplied with extensive and varied suspension system equipment (Flyware). The mid-high systems each feature 2 x 10 cm (4") high-performance speakers and a magnetostatic speaker for perfectly detailed and rich reproduction. The dynamic characteristics are absolutely convincing, while the tone at the basic setting is very pleasant. Despite the compact size, the bass module with 2 x 20 cm (8") bass speakers delivers surprisingly deep bass reproduction and high level stability, made possible only by using special high-power bass speakers and full DSP optimisation. The software allows the following adjustments (minimum system requirements: Windows PC only, WIN98 or higher, with CD drive and interface):

• Filters (high-pass or low-pass up to 36 dB/octave with various characteristics)
• Level
• Compression and limiting
• Delay

Up to 10 L-RAY systems can be managed via an RS-485 data bus. With the optional USB/RS-485 converter DA-70157, a PC or laptop with a USB port can be connected to the RS-485 serial interface. Upon delivery, the system software is calibrated for perfect basic linearity and is ready for immediate use. Otherwise, software adjustments are extremely simple to perform and sound engineers can operate them intuitively. The system comes with a robust mounting frame suitable for both suspended installations and ground or stage applications. The array elements can be curved in 1° increments. Individual components are locked with quick-release pins. The mounting frame also allows the array elements to be suspended without the subwoofer. Additionally, the array elements feature a connection plate for a stand mounting bracket. With the optional accessories LR-1000U and KM-21367, the system also allows a ground stacked configuration. For this purpose, the subwoofer cabinet is equipped with a recessed M20 mounting plate. Speaker cables with NEUTRIK SPEAKON connectors are included and allow connection between the parts and to the subwoofer. Power connection is via a POWERCON socket; the suitable AAC-115P power cable is included. The sturdy wooden cabinets are equipped with grills and a durable textured finish. The L-RAY/1000 systems represent a top-quality solution for any PA application where both perfect tone and uniform room coverage are required. The system’s advantages are especially evident in fixed installations in clubs and discos, as well as medium-sized mobile stage applications.
