Description
Active loop amplifier with dynamic compressor, specifically designed for the installation of an audio induction loop system in domestic environments (up to 40 m2).
The LA-40 loop amplifier transmits audio signals from a TV, an audio system and/or a microphone to the induction loop positioned on the floor, wall or along the ceiling. This creates a magnetic field within the loop, which is received by the hearing aid’s T-coil or the induction loop receiver and then converted back into an audio signal.
Wireless transmission is an advantage of audio induction loop systems. It allows the user to move freely within the loop and adjust the volume of the hearing aid or the receiving unit (LR-200) as desired, without disturbing others present.
The LA-40 can be connected directly to a TV’s SCART socket (using the supplied SCART adapter) or to an audio system. Conversations of others present can be heard by connecting an optional microphone.
The signal generator integrated into the LA-40 allows an alarm signal to be created via an optional switch.
