Description
The Kobi LX39 PIR sensor is an infrared motion detection device designed for wall installation, featuring a wide coverage angle of 180° and a maximum detection range of up to 12 metres. This sensor is equipped with advanced motion detection technology, with two adjustable ranges that allow customisation of both the activation time and light intensity according to the specific needs of the environment. The motion sensitivity can be calibrated to detect speeds between 0.6 and 1.5 m/s, ensuring accurate activation in the presence of human movement.
From a technical standpoint, the LX39 operates with a standard power supply of 220-240V at 50Hz and supports a maximum load of 1200W for incandescent sources and 300W for LED lamps or fluorescent tubes. The adjustable light intensity range spans from 3 to 2000 lux, allowing optimal adaptation to ambient light conditions. The device has low power consumption, equal to 0.45W during operation and 0.1W in standby mode, with an IP44 protection rating that permits use in partially sheltered indoor and outdoor environments.
Its compact dimensions (95x73x73 mm) and lightweight design of 150 grams facilitate installation at a recommended height between 1.8 and 2.5 metres. The sensor is designed to operate within a temperature range from -20 °C to +40 °C, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. Thanks to its technical features and the versatility of its settings (timer, light intensity, sensitivity, and adjustable motion sensor), the LX39 PIR sensor represents a reliable and high-performance solution for applications in public utility systems, private residences, and professional alarm and lighting systems.
