Description
The Kobi LX40 PIR sensor is an infrared motion detection device designed for wall installation, featuring a wide coverage angle of 180° and a detection range of up to 12 metres. Ideal for professional applications in public utilities, residential settings, and security systems, this sensor incorporates a dual adjustment system that allows customisation of both the activation time and light intensity, ensuring efficient control adaptable to various environmental conditions.
From a technical standpoint, the sensor operates on a 220-240V/50Hz power supply and supports a maximum load of 1200W for incandescent sources and 300W for LED lamps or fluorescent tubes. The detection sensitivity is adjustable, with a detected movement speed ranging from 0.6 to 1.5 m/s, and a light intensity range from 3 to 2000 lux. The device is designed to function within a wide temperature range from -20°C to +40°C, with a low power consumption of 0.45W during operation and 0.1W in standby mode, ensuring energy efficiency and reliability.
Its compact dimensions (95x73x73 mm) and weight of 150 g, together with IP44 protection, make the LX40 sensor suitable for installation even in environments exposed to dust and water splashes. The available adjustments, including timer, light intensity, sensitivity, and detection angle, allow precise calibration to maximise the security and energy efficiency of lighting or alarm systems, meeting the demands of a discerning professional market.
