Description
The Kobi LX41 PIR sensor is an advanced solution for infrared motion detection, designed for recessed ceiling installation. Equipped with a 360° detection angle, it provides full coverage of the area below up to a maximum distance of 6 metres, with a minimum detection distance of 2 metres. The device operates effectively within a wide temperature range from -20 °C to +40 °C, ensuring reliability in various environmental conditions. Installation is intended at a height between 2.2 and 4 metres, with sensitivity calibrated to detect movements at speeds between 0.6 and 1.5 m/s.
From a technical standpoint, the sensor operates on a 220-240 V, 50 Hz mains supply and supports a maximum load of 1200 W for incandescent sources, while for LED lamps and fluorescent tubes the maximum load is 300 W. Adjustments can be customised via parameters such as switch-on timer (from 10 seconds up to 8 minutes), light intensity (from 3 to 2000 lux), motion sensitivity, and detection threshold, allowing precise control adaptable to the specific needs of the system. Energy consumption is low, at 0.45 W during operation and only 0.1 W in standby mode.
The LX41 sensor, with a compact design (80x65x80 mm) and a weight of 100 grams, is rated with an IP20 protection class, suitable for indoor environments. Its versatility makes it ideal for applications in public utility systems, residential buildings, and automated alarm and lighting systems, offering high reliability and accuracy in space monitoring. The white finish and recessed installation also ensure a discreet aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into the environment.
