Description
The MKC-8908 300W hot air SMD rework and desoldering station is designed for precision operations on electronic components such as SOIC, chips, QFP, PLCC, BGA, and particularly for mobile phones and flexible flat cables (FFC). Thanks to its hot air generator with an integrated sensor and LED digital display, it allows accurate and stable temperature control, adjustable from 100°C to 500°C, ensuring optimal results in desoldering, heat shrinking, drying, paint and adhesive removal, defrosting, preheating, and soldering operations.
The control unit is equipped with an internal closed-loop sensor that ensures rapid heating and efficient operation, while the standby function activates automatically when lifting or placing the stylus on the safety holder, optimising energy consumption and extending the lifespan of the heating element and generator. The brushless motor fan guarantees a constant and quiet airflow (less than 45 dB), increasing the device’s durability and improving comfort during use.
The kit includes the control unit, hot air stylus, safety holder, and three nozzles with diameters of 5.0 mm, 8.0 mm, and 12.0 mm, with the option to use additional specific nozzles for various SMD applications. Powered by 220-240V AC, with compact dimensions of 15.5 x 12.5 x 11 cm and a weight of 1.2 kg, this station represents a versatile and reliable solution for technicians and hobbyists engaged in electronic rework activities.
