Description
The MKC LiFePO4 LFP2411 battery, 24V and 11Ah, represents an advanced solution in the field of lithium-ion accumulators, based on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology. This technology stands out for its high chemical stability and operational safety, ensuring a low self-discharge current, a lifespan exceeding 2,000 cycles at 90% utilisation of nominal capacity, and resistance to ageing even under high-temperature conditions. The battery is designed to offer excellent voltage stability even under heavy loads, making it ideal for applications requiring reliability and consistent performance over time.
The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) plays a crucial role in protecting and optimising the battery’s performance. The BMS provides protection against short circuits, overcharging, and excessive discharges, as well as preventing damage caused by excessive currents during charging. Automatic cell balancing eliminates the need for external devices, while continuous temperature monitoring ensures safe operation within the allowed operating range (from -20°C to 60°C), locking the battery in case of unsuitable environmental conditions.
This LiFePO4 battery is perfectly suited to replace traditional lead-acid batteries, offering significant advantages such as a weight reduction of up to 70%, rapid charging times (up to 90% in 15 minutes), and greater autonomy. Its features make it particularly suitable for professional applications in sectors such as UPS, energy storage systems from renewable sources, electric mobility (golf carts, electric bicycles, wheelchairs), and security systems, guaranteeing high performance and long-term reliability.
