The FIAMM 4V 150Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery, model 4SLA150, is an advanced solution based on VRLA AGM technology (Valve Regulated Lead Acid with an absorbent glass mat separator). This gas recombination technology ensures superior efficiency, with 99% of internal gases recombined, eliminating the need for maintenance and fluid top-ups. The battery is designed for versatile use, suitable for both standby and cyclic applications, with a sealed design that allows installation in enclosed environments and electronic equipment without the risk of leakage.
From a technical standpoint, the battery has a nominal capacity of 150Ah at 4V, ideal for ensuring energy continuity in security systems, UPS, emergency lighting, signalling, light traction, and energy storage systems for renewable sources. It is essential to use a constant voltage charging system compliant with the manufacturer’s specifications to avoid premature damage; in particular, the battery must not be left discharged after use, and the discharge voltage must not drop below 5.2V (for 6V batteries) or 10.4V (for 12V batteries).
