The 6V 1.2Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery YUASA NP1.2-6 is a sealed VRLA AGM (Valve Regulated Lead Acid with Absorbent Glass Mat technology) accumulator designed to deliver high performance in both standby and cyclic use applications. Thanks to gas recombination technology, which allows the recovery of 99% of the internal gases produced during charging, this battery requires no maintenance or electrolyte top-up, making it ideal for installation in enclosed environments or integrated within electronic devices.
Its technical features make it particularly suitable for a wide range of professional applications such as emergency lighting systems, signage, security and alarm systems, industrial process continuity, UPS power supply, light traction, and renewable energy storage systems. To preserve the battery’s lifespan and efficiency, it is essential to use a constant voltage charging system compliant with the manufacturer’s specified parameters, avoiding deep discharges below 5.2 V that could irreversibly compromise its performance.
From a safety and handling perspective, special care is recommended as the battery contains sulphuric acid.
