The 12V 7Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery YUASA NP7-12L is a sealed VRLA battery with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) gas recombination technology, ensuring 99% internal recombination. This feature makes it suitable for both standby and cyclic applications, offering high reliability and durability even under demanding operating conditions. The battery is designed for installation inside electronic equipment or enclosed environments, thanks to its sealed construction and complete maintenance-free operation, eliminating the need for electrolyte top-ups.
Typical applications include emergency lighting systems, signage, security and alarm systems, as well as industrial uses for process continuity, UPS systems, light traction, and energy storage for renewable sources. To ensure optimal performance and maximum battery life, it is essential to use a constant voltage charging system in accordance with the technical specifications indicated on the battery itself. An improper charging voltage can cause rapid product deterioration.
During use, it is crucial to avoid discharging the battery below 10.4 V (for 12V batteries), as deep discharges can irreversibly damage capacity and service life. Additionally, it is recommended to recharge the battery immediately after each usage cycle. Due to the presence of acid inside, special care is required when handling to ensure operator safety.
