HDMI is an acronym that stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface. Created in 2003 to ensure the transmission of Full HD video and Digital Audio, it has undergone numerous changes and improvements over the years.
The HDMI connection is used to connect an AV source (set-top box, computer, game console, Blu-ray player, smartphone, tablet) to a device capable of displaying images (television, monitor, projector).
We offer a wide range of MKC-branded HDMI solutions, including cables, splitters, selectors, converters, extenders, and controllers.
HDMI Cables
The HDMI cable is the vehicle through which the uncompressed digital signal is transferred from a source to a receiving device.
HDMI Splitters
An HDMI splitter uses a single HDMI source to split it between multiple HDMI devices. It can also be placed at the end of a long HDMI cable to regenerate the signal.
HDMI Selectors
The HDMI selector allows you to switch multiple HDMI ports to a single display terminal. It can also be placed at the end of a long HDMI cable to regenerate the signal.
HDMI Converters
HDMI converters allow you to convert various analog signals (CVBS + audio, VGA to PAL NTSC, etc.) into a digital HDMI signal.
HDMI Extenders
The extender uses a single Cat5E or Cat6 cable instead of an HDMI cable to transmit a high-definition signal up to 60 meters, reducing costs. The extender is designed to provide long-distance transmission of a high-definition signal.
HDMI Controller
The main function of the video wall controller is to divide an incoming video signal into multiple image partitions to be assigned to multiple video displays (such as TVs, LCDs, monitors, LED walls, etc.), thus creating a single, large image with Full HD resolution.
