Description
The WALL-05DTM/WS wall speaker features an integrated 1-channel Dante® module. This Dante® speaker is particularly suitable for commercial applications in the professional field. It can be used in situations where multiple audio channels need to be transmitted over long distances and to different areas or locations. Application fields include schools, office buildings, fitness centres, shops, and restaurants.
Compared to analogue transmission, digital transmission offers several advantages. The cable quality does not need to be as high as in analogue transmissions, and even over longer distances, the signal has comparatively low susceptibility to interference.
Compared to other Audio over Ethernet applications, such as CobraNet or EtherSound, Dante® offers built-in gigabit support, more channels, lower latency, and automatic configuration.
Power for the WALL-05DTM/WS is supplied via PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) or alternatively via an optional power supply (19 V/2.5 A).Active speaker with integrated Dante® module
