Description
Melchioni presents the Wallbox, the new Made in Italy device that draws power from the domestic electrical supply and transmits it, via cable, to the battery-powered car.
Recommended for domestic use or in private and semi-public car parks. When installed with Dynamic Power Management, it allows modulation of the charging power to avoid exceeding the meter limit.
The Solar Boost mode, available in the single-phase version, enables the use of power generated by photovoltaic panels, prioritising the consumption of solar energy over that drawn from storage systems or the grid. The station can be controlled remotely via an app when connected to a Wi-Fi network and, in the absence of an internet connection, it can still be managed via the app thanks to Bluetooth connectivity. It is also possible to update the software via both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Through the app, it is also possible to monitor consumption for individual sessions, restrict access to unauthorised users, and schedule lockout times.
It is compatible with third-party management systems via the OCPP 1.6 protocol.
