Description
The Kobi LX701 microwave sensor is a motion detection device designed for ceiling installation, featuring a 360° coverage angle and a detection range adjustable from 1 to 8 metres. Operating in the 5.8 GHz ISM band with CW technology, it ensures low power consumption below 10 mW, with a power draw of 0.9 W during operation. The sensor is calibrated to operate within a temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C, with an IP20 protection rating, making it suitable for indoor environments.
From a technical standpoint, the LX701 supports a maximum load of 1200 W for incandescent sources and up to 300 W for LED lamps or fluorescent tubes. Adjustable settings include the switch-on timer (from 10 seconds to 8 minutes), motion sensitivity, and light intensity threshold (from 2 to 2000 lux), allowing precise customisation of operation according to system requirements. The detected movement speed ranges between 0.6 and 1.5 m/s, with a recommended installation height between 1.5 and 3.5 metres.
Its compact dimensions (92x45x42 mm) and weight of only 70 grams make the LX701 sensor easily integrable into public utility, residential, and commercial systems where automated management of alarms and lighting systems is required.
