Description
The LX709 microwave motion sensor from Kobi is designed for professional applications requiring precise and reliable detection in indoor environments. The device operates in the 5.8 GHz ISM band using CW technology, ensuring a full 360° detection angle and an operating range between 3 and 10 metres, with a detected movement speed between 0.6 and 1.5 m/s. The sensor is powered by 220-240 V / 50 Hz, with an energy consumption of only 0.9 W during operation and an emission power below 10 mW, ensuring low energy impact and long operational life.
From a technical standpoint, the LX709 supports a maximum load of 1200 W for incandescent lamps and up to 300 W for LED sources or fluorescent tubes. The device features advanced adjustments that allow customisation of the switch-on timer (from 10 seconds to 15 minutes), detection sensitivity, and light intensity threshold (from 3 to 2000 lux), enabling optimal control based on environmental conditions and the specific needs of the installation. The operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +40 °C, while the recommended mounting height is between 1.5 and 3.5 metres, with an IP20 protection rating.
